Imbhali ngokuchazwa ngutata uBhodlinyama from Rhudulu Heritage – Executive Member
There are seven houses of Nxuba, where umvela tanci was the son Njuza from uMakhiwa from Mpondo land. But because of a war that took place at the time, Makhiwa left the house of Nxuba to her maternal side whom unknowingly so didnt realize that she was pregnant. When the child was about 4 years old Makhiwa returned to her husband Nxuba with a boy, the royal house needed to inform Nxuba of this forgotten wife Makhiwa that when she left the royal house she was carrying a child in her womb. Nxuba welcome the wife back and named the child uNjuza, ngoba wanjuza nonina (child born by a wedded mother away from her husband, and such a child kept as a secret without letting a husband know that he has a child).
Ngokwe sintu amatole duna ancetyelwa ekhaya hayi kulo nina, thus on those grounds Njuza could not become a heir due to the act of her mother. Makhiwa then gave Nxuba a second born by the name of Tshangisa, but unlike Njuza he his brother Tshangisa was born in the royal household of Nxuba. Then Nxuba took a second wife and this time a third son by the name of Ngcengane was born. It is very important to note that whilst Makhiwa was carrying his second born Tshangisa, the second wife was also carrying in her womb by the name Ngcengane, in other words Tshangisa and Ngcengane in Xhosa ngama fumanana nkundleni children born months apart in the same year. Ngcengane mother then gave birth to her second born Mduma. Few years later Nxuba took a third wife and this time twins where born Gaduka and his twin sister Nabazana, however Nabazana never got married but gave birth to a son named Nabe. The last born from the third wife after the twins Gaduka and Nabazana was Mzongozi imfusi yekhaya.
Yiyo lonto kusithiwa izindlu zika Nxuba, kaSnuka, kaRhudulu kaSkomo, kaGqunu aka Ndunu kaNjanye zisixhenxe.
